Waste Tire Collection

The following locations are public collection centers. Citizens and
waste tire dealers may drop-off tires in the semi-trailers located at
these facilities ONLY during facility business hours!

Raw materials in tires:
Rubber (41 percent)
Carbon (28 percent)
Steel (15 percent)
Other (16 percent)
U.S. Generates approx. one scrap tire for every person each year.
Ground-up tire uses:
Playground mulch
Roadbed material
Run & walk tracks
Recovered tires turned to fuel produce high heat without producing large amounts of sulphur when burned.

Ready to burn?
The open burning of anything not specifically exempted is considered a violation of state law.
